2020 had proven to be a watershed year for many, and we have had to adapt quickly to stay relevant in the face of rapid transformation. The need to evolve swiftly holds particularly true for design and its related disciplines, which leverages heavily on creativity to revamp, rework and reshape the status quo into something better.
As we begin the year 2021, we must continue to imagine and innovate positively for the world around us. Design-oriented solutions are increasingly needed to remedy the problems faced by society.
This year, DESIGN FOR GOOD by Student Affairs Office teams up with the School of Art, Design and Media to showcase how ADM students demonstrate design’s potential to shape the well-being of the people. Through a curated selection of exhibits, one can envision how these Final Year Projects have worked towards highlighting social and environmental issues in the face of the ongoing pandemic crisis.
