Our daily choices have an impact on the environment, whether or not we are conscious of it.
To instil greater environmental consciousness, and to galvanize collective action from the NTU community, Earthlink NTU, together with 50 other student clubs and partners, are presenting a month-long “GREEN FOR GOOD 2022” Festival centred around three pillars – Food Sustainability, Sustainable Living, and Biodiversity & Conservation.
There will be fun activities such as accessible-friendly workshops and nature walks, exhibitions and talks, to help us learn, gain appreciation, and take small steps to make this world a greener place to live in.
Green For Good will officially kick off with an Opening Launch. This virtual event will feature opening addresses by Prof. Madhavi Srinivasan, Executive Director of NTU Sustainability Office and Tan Shi Zhou, President of Earthlink NTU.
Prof. Madhavi will introduce NTU Sustainability Office, its purpose and future projects, while Shi Zhou will share an overview of the events taking place during Green For Good 2022.

The BYO Campaign participants will be able to accumulate points through the susGain mobile app in making sustainable choices, and those that accumulate a sufficient amount will be rewarded.
In the past two years, the National Environmental Agency (NEA) cleared about 3500 tonnes of marine debris annually. The amount of litter that gets washed up onto our beaches can have devastating impacts on wildlife, and on the health and wellbeing for beach-goers.
Take action today! Form your own group to support the Clean Beach Campaign.

The Linkway Exhibition introduces you to three themes on Fast Fashion, Plastic Recycling and exposure to the various green initiatives to heighten the significance of these green movements. Featured at the exhibition are Alt.native and The Plastic Project.
Alt.native is a company that connects people who want to upcycle old clothes with those that have the skills to do so. The refashioning booth aims to raise awareness of refashioning, and minimise the pressure that fast fashion has on the environment.
Next up, the Plastic Recycling exhibits aim to create awareness of the amount of plastic waste we generate, and its adverse environmental impacts. The Plastic Project, a local community project, aims to circularise our economy better by transforming plastic waste into new products, like coasters.
Lastly, students and teachers alike will have the opportunity to witness external green organisations showcasing their stories, innovative solutions and volunteering platforms to create a bigger impact on the environment. Look out also for Eco-Campus’ Where You Bin campaign, to raise awareness on recycling right!
Visit the exhibition and take a photo at the fashion photo booth, to stand a chance to win attractive prizes.
