Organised by Community Classroom SG – a collective of teachers, community workers and education researchers in Singapore, this event is an opportunity for people to dream up the kinds of programs, cultures and practices they wish to see in schools, communities and homes, so that education can be a vehicle for building kinder and fairer societies.
The symposium includes a ticketed screening organised by The Filmic Eye, followed by a discussion of the film Unteachable. Other sessions will explore topics like student-community partnerships, marginalisation in/by the mainstream education system, disciplinary practices in schools, the role of civic education, as well as school and student participation in the environmental movement.

Where: *SCAPE (2 Orchard Link, Level 5, Singapore 237978)
