In celebration of World Food Day (16 October), the Food Bank Singapore is launching a month-long campaign to highlight food wastage and hunger issues.

This three-part campaign consists of:

• A month-long food drive aimed at collecting 50,000 kg of non-perishable food donations;
• Fresh Food Truck activities to salvage fresh produce; and
• Distribution of 5,000 food bundles to low-income households.
