Event: Trash to Treasure
Date: 22 Mar 2019, Fri – 22 Mar 2019, Fri Description: We can all play our part in caring for our environment through Upcycling, which transforms waste materials or unwanted products into new materials or products of better quality. It minimises the volume of discarded materials, reducing the need for production using new or raw materials and lessen the amount of waste going into landfills! Partnering with Terra SG, a special upcycling workshop is organised where youths and seniors can make something new from old materials. There will also be opportunities to interact and get to know the seniors over lunch and other activities. Join in to pick up a new upcycling skill and learn more about the environment!
