Event: Homework Support and Tutoring
Date: 1 Jun 2019, Sat – 31 Dec 2019, Tue Description: Beyond Social Services is recruiting volunteers who are comfortable teaching both primary and secondary school kids. Volunteers should be able to teach primary school English, Mathematics and Science and be familiar with Singapore school syllabus. All volunteers must also be able to commit minimally once a week for 6 months. Details are as follows:
Venue 1 When: Tuesdays, 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm (till September 2019) Where: Mujahidin Mosque (590 Stirling Road, Singapore 148952)
Venue 2 When: Wednesdays, 7.00 pm – 8.30 pm for a minimum of 6 months (from 12 June 2019 onwards) Where: 136 Jalan Bukit Merah RC (136 Jalan Bukit Merah, Singapore 160136) Remarks: Tutor Primary 6 students only – preparation for PSLE.
Venue 3 When: Weekly (1 weekday evenings/1 weekend afternoon) for a minimum of 6 months Where: Lavendar area Remarks: Tutor a Secondary 2 student staying in Lavendar. The youth needs help with Mathematics and Science.
Venue 4 When: Weekly (1 weekday evening) for a minimum of 6 months Where: 75 Whampoa Drive, #01-372, Singapore 320075 Remarks: Tutor sisters who are in Primary 3 and 4. Need help with all subjects.
Venue 5 When: Weekly (1 weekend afternoon) (till December 2019) Where: Northbridge Road Remarks: Tutor a Secondary 4 (Normal Academic) girl. The youth needs help with Mathematics and Science – preparation for ‘N’ Level.
