Description:

Application for Youth Corps Leaders Programme is now open!

Since its inception in June 2014, more than 1,000 youths have embarked on the Youth Corps Leaders Programme. This year, there will be a recruitment for two tracks – project and immersion, to better cater to the differing needs of youths.

  • Project Track – Youths will be mentored by Community Partners and other leaders to plan and execute community ground up projects over a course of 6 months from December 2019 to June 2020.

  • Immersion Track – Youths will receive placements with Community Partners and gain on-the-job training and supervision from resource specialists from the organisations over the course of 10 weeks, on a full-time basis. This year, we have curated a second run that is more suitable for University undergraduates and recent graduates. The full-time programme will run from 18 May to 24 July 2020.

Through the Youth Corps Leaders Programme, youths will be equipped with essential skills such as community needs analysis and stakeholder management. They will also gain insights into national issues and the individual’s role in shaping Singapore. Catch a glimpse of our youths’ journey in the programme here.
