Event: d’Klub Mentoring Programme
Date: 20 Feb 2020, Thu – 20 Feb 2021, Sat Description: This is a weekly mentoring programme that aims to inspire and motivate children from disadvantaged family backgrounds to discover, develop and display their potential as well as enhance their resilience and enable them to rise above the challenges faced. This is achieved by building their sense of purpose, self-worth, self-confidence and equipping them with life handles through the informal social support network provided by the volunteers and d’Klub staff. The role of a volunteer is to provide guidance through tuition and befriend the child through weekly interaction in the centre. Volunteers will be split into teams and take turns to facilitate either character building lessons or sports each week. There are various venues which you can volunteer at, and they are:
