Course Advisor is a course-oriented social platform for students to exchange experiences on courses, lectures and give suggestions on course selection. After logging in via the school account, user can see his/her program’s course list and the corresponding lecturer’s photo. In case user still has no idea about which course to choose, they can ask this application for advice. By clicking “give me course suggestion”, the Course Advisor will return a list to the user according to his/her preference and current condition(see figure 1). Upon selecting one course, user can see its detailed information (i.e. general introduction, year duration, location, syllabus, course materials, previous assignment & presentation by former students), rating and comments. One can also post his/her comment of this course and share documents, pictures or videos. Every comment belongs to one category so that it is easy to browse similar contents. Besides, searching, bookmarking and comments are available at the bottom and one can also check recent updated courses and comments. (see figure 2)
All the lecturers’ and students’ Photos are clickable icons. From there one can see their profiles, including information such as full name, department, rating, comments phone number and mail address. User can add them to his/her own contracts and communicate with them through e-mail directly.
