As part of his efforts to preserve the Yosemite National Park, John Muir has published several articles and books to raise awareness on the importance of preserving the wilderness for both aesthetical and environmental reasons. Rather than the mere descriptions of the wonders of nature, Muir’s sincere passion for nature relayed through his works was what really moved his readers.
