In 1993 the chinese goverment banned the trade of animal substances. On top of that, a lot of countries involved in the Traditional Chinese Medicines already have banned the poaching and trade of animals.  In 2010 the World Federation of Chinese Mediacal Societes also urgently asked their members not to use medicines with animal substances in it. However poaching animals haven’t stopped through these laws.

Still a lot of animals are treat inhumanely or killed for these medicines. So the next step is to control the actions. We need to check if the law is enforced. It might be a good option to control the tradings of these countries more than they already do, so that there is no possible option for the poacher to transport these substances.
