Nowadays a lot of programs are trying to protect the wild animals. A couple examples are:

• Save the rhino. They are protecting the rhinos in the wild and increasing the population and raising funds to do this. They are also raising awarness and developing community participation. On top of that they are exchanging information with other partners to protect the rhinos.
• WWF.  They work together with TRAFFIC to protect and connect the habitat of for example tigers and bears.
• Sun Bears Survival. This campaign is focussed on the awareness of the sun bear.

On these websites you can also help to protect the animals that are being used in medicines. You can for example donate, but also a smaller action can contribute. Making people around you more aware of this problem is a good first step.
