Only people who are raised in this culture know sbout these medicines, and also not everyone that uses TCM techniques are also buying medicines. As described before the prices of these medicines are quite high so only rich people in that culture would buy them. So the need for status also is a key component in this problem.

On top of that, this tradition is grounded really deep for years. It is a value and values are not easy to change. As described before, tradition is a value, which is less open to change than other values and nature is well integrated in their health care system.

Education need to keep consisting for years probably, before you see a change. To change a value, you might need to start thinking about moral education.
