Awards

Jeff lives by his firm beliefs that through education and awareness, the natural resources, wildlife and ecosystems that make up our planet can be conserved for future generations. Bridgewater State College honored Jeff Corwin with a doctorate in public education in 1999 for his work in communicating and educating people regarding the need for a sustainable approach to using natural resources and also the importance of conserving endangered species.

Jeff has also received several Emmy awards for his presence in the films and television programs industry. The purpose of having this awards is to recognize excellence in the television industry, and is hence given to recipients who are deemed to excel in the television and film industry.

He won a daytime Emmy award in 2004 for being an outstanding performer in Jeff Corwin Unleashed, which is a condensed version of The Jeff Corwin Experience that is targeted at children.

He won two daytime Emmy awards for his work, Ocean Mysteries with Jeff Corwin. The show won in 2014 for being the outstanding travel program, and he won it again in 2016 with the same show for being an outstanding lifestyle cum travel program host.
