Ask any Canadian about David Suzuki – few will not recognise such an iconic figure. Canadians best know the environmental activist through his television program The Nature of Things with David Suzuki. Having been the host for the longest-running series on Canadian TV spanning over 50 seasons, many Canadians grew up learning about science and the environment through his program.
Besides his public education efforts for his country, David Suzuki has also organised the Blue Dot Tour in 2014, gathering the public’s support in urging the Canadian government to recognise their right to live in a healthy environment.
