In this segment, we will explore the alternatives to fast fashion. I will be covering:
- ethical fashion choices
- the minimalism movement
- new innovations that may strike a happy medium between fast and sustainable fashion
Curtailing consumption behaviours may not be the be-all and end-all of sustainable living. If we contextualise our behaviour in today’s economic model, having consumers restrict their behaviours would only harm the country’s economy. In order to strike a compromise, I will be exploring sustainable alternatives that would hopefully not impede economic growth.
