Pen Recycling

Save That Pen is an initiative by then-NUS students (Goh Huishan, Kia Jie Hui, Ng Shi Han and Ng Yi Teng). They wanted to create an avenue to recycle and donate pens for students in need, and also, to encourage the reuse of pens through refills.

Collected pens that cannot be refilled or reused are stripped of their plastic and metal parts for recycling. Upcycling activities events were also organised, turning used pen parts into creative items like pen lamps, stationery holders and pen art.
