Zero Waste Stores

Unpackt

Taken from: Unpackt

Unpackt is Singapore’s first zero waste store located at Jalan Kuras. Like other zero waste stores, Unpackt doesn’t use any packaging and encourage its patrons to bring their own reusable containers. The store sells anything grocery-related and daily essentials, minus the plastic packaging.

Scoop Wholefoods is a family-run and Australian grown business that focuses on people’s health and the health of the planet. Scoop uses minimal packaging to reduce its environmental impact and is aiming to be zero waste. To do so, the store encourages its patrons to bring their own reusable containers but also provide compostable packaging.

(I actually went to one of the Scoop outlets at Paya Lebar Square during my 2-week Zero Waste Challenge. You can take a closer look at the inside of Scoop in my vlog.)
