Hamizah is a Sociology undergraduate, who is doing a minor in Psychology. Taking HP331 Conservation Psychology has indeed resulted in a change in her perceptions about conservation issues, not only in Singapore but around the world too. It has raised her awareness about environmental and conservation issues that today’s society is facing and the underlying reasons that led to the occurrence of such problems. Learning about the approaches or solutions that could be adopted in order to promote greater environmental concern and responsibility among members of the society made her realized that there are still a lot more that we humans could do to play a part in conservation efforts.
