Hello everyone! I am a Year 2 Psychology student doing this blog as part of a module project. This blog will provide some information about the risks that the coastal regions in Vietnam faces, what are the psychological issues involved and what has been done to help with the issues. I was interested in bringing up issues faced by countries that are not so salient in the media or taught to us in school, so I picked Vietnam. Most of the time, we will mention animals or countries such as Thailand when we talk about conservation but the coastal regions in Vietnam are also worth being concerned with as they are also being depleted and are deteriorating at a very fast rate.

Hopefully this will interest some of you to read up more on Vietnam’s environmental issues and how collaboration between the various stakeholders has helped improve the situation. 🙂
