Habitat Loss

There has been significant impact of habitat loss in West and East Africa. Uncontrolled deforestation has deprived African grey parrots of their refuge in the once abundant forest, where they were safe from hungry predators. In addition to being weary of their natural hunters, they have to be on the look out for trappers and poachers too. Trappers and poachers have been venturing deeper into the forests in search of new flocks to trap.
