I am Gladys Koh, a Year 3 Psychology major in Nanyang Technological University.

Frankly speaking, before taking up Conservation Psychology as a module, I was quite unaware and uninterested in the myriad of conservation issues in the world and I was never much of an environmentalist. Tasked to do up a blog in this field, I was stuck and lost as I had no idea where to begin.

After the field trip to the Zoo, I thought that maybe I could do on an issue relating to conservation of a particular animal. I have a friend, who is very, very, very animal-loving. (I cannot emphasise how much she loves and cares for all sorts of animals.) I thought that maybe I could get some inspiration from her, so I asked her about her opinions on conservation of animals in general. She told me she loved dolphins and recommended me to watch a documentary called The Cove, which sparked my interest in this people-loving animal — dolphins.

Following that, I decided that I would do up my blog on the conservation of dolphins. With more and more research and time put into this blog, I feel so much for this issue. Through all the researches that I have done, I have definitely gained a lot of knowledge, and I hope that through this blog, I am able to share this knowledge with you, and let you know what you can do to play a part in the conservation of dolphins!

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog 🙂
