Laboratory objectives:
- To generate knowledge of interactions between materials and biological systems
- To translate such knowledge into viable and relevant applications for society
The materials that we study include natural proteins, synthetic polymers and nanomaterials. Applications that are of interest to us include tissue engineering, nanobiotechnology and environmental engineering.
