GO-FAR 2010 exhibition | Timor-Leste: Nation in the making

This year, 17 students from the GO-FAR (Going Overseas for Advanced Reporting) programme were in Timor-Leste for 17 days of intensive reportage. One of the poorest nations in Asia, Timor-Leste has suffered a traumatic Indonesian occupation and independence struggle. From language and education to oil and coffee, the team explored the many facets of the evolving Timorese identity, as well as the pressing issues they currently face.
