About DR-NTU (Data)

DR-NTU (Data) [https://researchdata.ntu.edu.sg] is the institutional open access research data repository for Nanyang Technological University (NTU) supported by the Library and CITS. The repository is built on an open-source web application called Dataverse which is developed and used by Harvard University to share, preserve, cite, explore, and analyze research data.

DR-NTU (Data) is the local instance of Dataverse, a software installation which hosts multiple dataverses. Each dataverse (can be created for individual researchers, departments, journals, and organizations) contains datasets (research data, code, documentation, and metadata), and each dataset contains descriptive metadata and data files (including documentation and code that accompany the data). As an organizing method, dataverses may also contain other dataverses.

NTU researchers are encouraged to use DR-NTU (Data) to deposit, publish and archive their final research data in order to make their data discoverable, accessible and reusable.
