This semester, Engineering librarians met more than 1,279 undergraduate students from SCE, MSE, MAE and Maritime Studies program, from Jan to Feb 2016, who were attending the Information Literacy Undergraduate program (ILUG). Additionally about 213 year 3 students attended the new advanced ILUG module through the HW0288 Engineering Communications II course conducted in collaboration with the Language & Communication Centre. More than 160 students also participated in library workshops for EEE & CEE PhD research students and HW0210 Technical Communications course. NTU Libraries first Introduction to 3D printing workshop held on 13 January 2016 was attended by nineteen NTU engineering undergraduate and postgraduate students. The course instructor was also a Phd student from NTU’s School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Vivek Manohar. After attending the one hour hands-on session at Lee Wee Nam Library seminar room, participants took a brief tour of the 3D printing services available at Campus Supplies.
