About this talk

Enabling your publications for open access allows for a wider audience, provides greater chances of your work making an impact on the scholarly community, and helps to fulfil your obligation to society in use of public funds for research (thus the OA requirements by many funding agencies). Though there is no shortage of discussions and opinions on open access, faculty and researchers still have questions and practical concerns on its impact on the process of research publication.

This presentation will look at key issues in OA, and survey recent developments.
