Chinese Library will be hosting a Book Donation Ceremony of the Guangxi Bookshelves Project on Fri 13 Nov, 2pm- 3pm. Guangxi Bookshelves Project, a 5-year print book donation project, initiated and sponsored by the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Guangxi with the Association of Guangxi Studies (AGS), China. The project is aimed to strengthen the cultural and academic exchange between China, especially Guangxi Province, and the ASEAN countries.
More details about the event can be found in the poster below. A keynote speech entitled “Contemporary Confucius Worship under the Concept of Global Asia”, will be given by Prof I Lo-fen, Head of the Chinese Division. The speech will be conducted in Mandarin.
