HOW TO PARTICIPATE

      1. Each participant may submit up to 3 original entries.
      2. Entries should be in JPEG format, be less than 5MB each and must be at least 1,600 pixels wide for (horizontal image) or 1,600 pixels tall (for vertical image).
      3. Entries must be submitted by 31 May 2013.
      4. Each entry must include:
        • Name of participant NTU staff or student ID
        • School and division
        • Contact number
        • Location where the photo was taken
        • A photo caption for the entry
      5. All entries are to be emailed to librarypromotion@ntu.edu.sg

COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By entering the competition you hereby accept these competition rules and the terms and conditions.

          1. The competition is open to all staff and students of Nanyang Technological University (Full Time and Part Time).
          2. By participating in this competition you acknowledge you are the sole owner and author of each entry.
          3. All entries should depict the importance, usefulness and value of NTU Libraries including its staff, spaces, services and resources.
          4. NTU Libraries consist of seven libraries including Asian Communication Resource Centre, Art, Design & Media Library, Business Library, Chinese Library, Humanities and Social Sciences Library, Lee Wee Nam Library & Wang Gungwu Library.
          5. Entries must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any third person or entity, or violate any person’s rights of privacy or publicity.
          6. Finalists will be required to submit their original photos for verification of ownership.
          7. All participants must be able to supply a high resolution image suitable for printing in media and an exhibition should the image be required.
          8. As the author, you will retain full ownership of the copyright in each entry.
          9. Judging will be based on the following criteria: (1) Creativity; (2) Photographic quality; (3) Genuineness/Authenticity of the content.
          10. The judging panel reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not meet the requirements of the theme.
          11. The decision of the judges is final and no negotiation will be entertained with respect to any such decision.
          12. Winners will be announced by 21 June 2013.
