What is Scopus?
Scopus is an abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature: scientific journals, books and conference proceedings. It has a comprehensive overview of the world’s research output in the fields of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, and arts and humanities.

Books: Almost 50,000 books and more than 420 book series
Conference papers: 6.5 million conference papers from over 17,000 worldwide events
Patents: 24 million patents from five patent offices (US Patent & Trademark Office, European Patent Office, Japan Patent Office, World Intellectual Property Organization, and UK Intellectual Property Office)
