NTU Libraries has subscribed to two new primary source databases from Gale Digital Collections. Click on the icons below to access the new databases!
Nineteenth Century Collections Online (NCCO) is a multi-year global digitization and publishing program focusing on primary source collections of the long nineteenth century.
The NCCO consists of monographs, newspapers, pamphlets, manuscripts, ephemera, maps, photographs, statistics, and other kinds of documents in both Western and non-Western languages from the 19th Century, as its name implies.
There are a total of 12 modular archives, each of which contain from thousands to millions of pages of resources. For a full list of the collections, check out the Library’s database details page here.
Sabin Americana 1500 – 1926 is based on the seminal bibliographical project started by Joseph Sabin in 1868, and the content in this digital database is drawn from his bibliography, Bibliotheca Americana: A Dictionary of Books Relating to America from Its Discovery to the Present Time.
The database covers more than 400 years and contains more than 65,000 volumes in North, Central, and South America and the West Indies. You can also find out more about Sabin Americana from the Library’s database details page here.
As these databases are part of Gale Digital Collections, you can also access them via the Gale Primary Sources platform.
