  1. Google ntu library book study room
  2. Go to Library facilities booking page
  3. Login Facilities Booking system
  4. click on booking “Library facilties”
  5. select library first
  6. choose a facility type
  7. point 3 choose the type of room
  8. click book
  9. choose the time that I want
  10. select one hour in slot
  11. adjust the time at the side bar (and you can only book one day in time)
  12. click “submit (NOTE: must come to Library to book or must must install VPN)
  13. Go library
  14. Go to Library facilities booking system
  15. Click “Administrative module”
  16. Click “My Booking”
  17. Click “Check-in”
  18. Collect equipment bag from services desk
  19. Walk to level 2 to use study room

4. Login to OverDrive via NTU OverDrive website. Borrow the title.

Senario 1 – Print an essay before class
Assumptions
– The student is in Lee Wee Nam Library and does not have a laptop
– Using the PC available in the library
– Know the excat title of the article
– Article has the full – text PDF available

1 Go to a library computer and log in
2 Type in thr title of the article in One Search
3 Select the correct article from the result list
4 Click on the PDF icon
5 Click the print icon
6 Go to the printer room
7 Enter his/her usre name in the print release machine
8 Selects the print job
9 Tap EZ LINK card to print for payment
10 Retrieve the printed article

Assumption (Same as above) and faculty ask him to find for more resouces in the library, so he/she wants to ask a librarian for help

1 Approaches the Service Desk to ask for help
2 Service staff or SA directs him/her to RAD

4 Shown a list of materials
5 Chooses the articles he wants
6 Ask librarian to save the choosen articles in his/her thumbdrive
7 Look through the articles he/she has choosen

Group V: Spend the least amount of time and effort on changing styles when submitting for conferences/publishers

Persona: Spammie the first year postgraduate student from SPMS

Journey map to change styles in endnote:
1. Spammie finds out from his supervisor that he should use latex, and not endnote.
2. As this is a library assignment: Spammie googles ntu endnote.
3. Spammie downloads endnote from the library site and gets error message.
4. Gets administrator right from NSS IT and download to their office pc.
5. Tries to download to Macintosh and gets error message.
6. Contacts library ISD and download to mac.
7. Googles endnote change styles, goes to LWNL or a subject library to find out how to change the styles, contacts askalibrarian service to find out how to change styles, and contacts subject librarian for help.
8. Goes to youtube and does the necessary.

  2. (Assuming they choose to visit the library) Find and visit nearest Library (Chinese Library)
  3. Approach service desk counter
  4. Send the list of books and other necessary information to library
  5. Wait for acknowledgement / notification from the Library

1. Receives email from subject librarian regarding event at ADML / Sees poster posted at school’s notice board / Sees poster on notice board of ADML / Hears about event from friends / Happens to be at ADML when event takes place

2. Registers via link given on poster / email or scans QR code to access registration webpage

3. Jots down date and time of event on mobile phone

4. Receives email reminder about event from library before day of event

5. On day of event, makes his way to the library

6. Locates ADML easily as he has been there before

7. Enters ADML

8. Says hello to friends who are attending the same event

9. Walks together with friends to event location e.g. cinema room

10. Looks for a seat

13. Interacts with the librarian in charge of event
