Brief Introduction: This is an anthology of articles which paints a picture of the day to day lives of Chinese working people in the United States. This is presented by the Staff of Getting Together, which was founded in 1970, by Wor Kuen. The articles in this anthology is well organised into five general sections: History, Present Conditions, Women, Youth and Culture, which aims in answering questions like the reasons of Chinese people moved to America and continued to labour in the country inspite of all the hardship and suffering, exploitation and discrimination.
