audiobookAudio-Visual (AV) materials are resources that contain both a sound and visual component. The most common examples of AV content are videos and movies.

In the library, AV materials refer to educational or promotional material (in physical form) that stores media content. This is not limited to only videos, but audio recordings such as music and audio-books as well. Common types of AV materials you can borrow from the library include CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray disks.
