About Me

I am an academic thriving to simplify unlocking the potential of data in a wide range of applications, e.g., for data science or business analytics. My research interests lie in data management algorithms and systems, in particular for data integration, data provenance, and data quality. My contributions in these areas support the transformation of raw data into high quality data obtained in an efficient, scalable, and traceable way, which form the foundation for accurate and fair data analysis, e.g., using machine learning. These topics mirror into my teaching, where I thrive to educate the next generation of professionals to handle and use data diligently and responsibly.
