1. Is GMAT or GRE required?
GMAT and GRE are not required.

*The tuition fees indicated excludes prevailing GST of 7%. GST is subject to revision at the discretion of the Singapore Government.

The Tuition fees do not include expenses related to health screening, insurance, accommodation, and other student-related expenses.

 

*Students with outstanding fees will be barred from viewing examination results in the current trimester and from registering subject in the following trimester. A late fee of S$25.00 will also be imposed.

3. What are the modes of payment for the application fees?

An administrative fee of S$100 (inclusive of GST). You can pay by any of the following modes:

 

Internet using credit card

Internet payment (WorldPay- VISA / Mastercard) is available. Instructions are available upon submission of online application form.

 

 

DBS/POSB ATM

*please note that DBS/POSB ATM could only accept a maximum fee of S$65.00 for each transaction. Therefore, all applicants are required to complete the payment by multiple transactions.
 
  1. ​​​Insert DBS/POSB ATM card in card slot
  2. Enter personal PIN number
  3. Select “iBanking, Cashcard & More Services” option
  4. Then select Credit Card/Bill Payment option
  5. In the list of corporations listed, select “NTU APPLICATION FEE” for payment of bill. Please scroll to the next screen if you are unable to find NTU’s name
  6. At the “Enter Bill Reference No.” prompt, enter NTU Bill reference number and press “Enter” key to proceed (The Bill Reference number is unique to each applicant)
  7. Select account type to debit
  8. Enter amount (up to S$65.00) and select “Correct” to proceed
  9. Check your payment details and select “Confirm” to proceed with the transaction
  10. Please repeat step 1-9 to complete your payment (S$100.00)
  11. Please upload a copy of your transaction receipt (only WORD or PDF document accepted) via online application portal.

  • Cash will not be accepted as the University moves towards cashless payment. Payments are to be made at One Stop @ SAC via cashless mode.

Important Notes

  • Application fee is non-refundable

  • Applications not following the above guidelines will be deemed invalid and will not be processed. No further notification will be sent to these applicants.
4. Can I apply for both the MSc TIP English & Chinese programmes?

Yes. Applicant who intends to apply for both the MSc TIP English and Chinese programmes, please submit a separate application for each programme.

5. I accidentally applied for the wrong programme, can it be changed?

No. If you have applied for the wrong programme, you must begin a new application for the correct programme. The fee for the incorrect application cannot be refunded.

6. What are the financial grants available and the eligibility criteria?

Prior to admission:

A limited number of Financial Grants are available, and selection is competitive and based on merit.

After admission:

NTC-MSc TIP Merit Award (up to SGD5,000)
Candidates who are enrolled into the MSc TIP will be considered for merit award based on performance and achievements in the programme.
