Stefanie Duessler | Linkedin | Github | Researchgate

My research focuses on developing computational methods for nonlinear aeroelastic systems. In particular, I am looking at next-generation flexible free-flying air-vehicles considering structural and aerodynamic nonlinear effects becoming apparent at large deformation. In addition, I am investigating control methods for these systems specifically targeting gust alleviation to contribute to more efficient control design for greener air-vehicles. I am interested in aerodynamic modelling, fluid-structure interaction problems, and control methods. I am an experienced and skilled programmer using C++, Python, and Matlab/Simulink.
