Student Testimonials

Jain Aarushi

MSE Student, Year 4 | IFAP BE TS PTE AT at Infineon Technologies AG

My internship experience at Infineon has been very fruitful and given me invaluable technical skills. I’m part of the automation team where we work to optimize and automate backend testing processes of semiconductor chips.

On my first day, I was given a tour of the testing facility which was a unique and unforgettable experience. My project involves creating a python-based productive system for the detection of high failure lots and creating a web application to display the analysed plots, trigger corrective measures and collect feedback from engineers. It is rewarding to know that the system I create will be a useful tool in ensuring the quality and reliability of chips.

Apart from my main project, there is always room for additional learning and fun. We participated in an internal challenge, ‘Pitch, Please!’, where we did a 3-minute business pitch for an AI-based solution and emerged as 1st runners-up. Moreover, I am grateful for the connections I made with my colleagues at Infineon who are welcoming and helpful, always challenging me beyond my comfort zone. I learnt something new every day as an intern and this exposure has greatly benefited my personal and professional development.
