New Skills for the Academic Library Workforce: The Canadian Experience
The following paper will document the progress made by the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) over the last 15 years to help the nation’s academic library workforce meet the new expectations. The paper will begin with some high level observations of what could arguably be described as the CARL approach to workforce development over the time period.
