My learning
Design thinking
-
- Have a good problem definition and think from user’s perspective and been through the iterations is important
Learn from my teammates that everything is can-do
-
- I learnt leadership and product management from Will. He is good at goal setting for our project in terms of technical
- I learnt multi-tasking and inter-disciplinary thinking from Carmen. She is a genius with multiple talents and she links us to many possibilities with a good number of industry experts.
Learning about wellbeing & Self-care
-
- The project also grows my interests to give attention to human and environmental well-being. While going deep in this project, I realize there are many ways for us to care and intervene individual’s well-being. I will continue to give efforts in the area.
Be open-minded
-
- Sourcing other people’s support and gain their perspective is a process that amazes me the most in the e-planter creation journey
- Design thinking, divergent
- Convergent – understand users’ needs and assess our technical
Think from the other side
Perspective from teaching team
- Hanyang – inspires us to inject more creativity to the work
- Prof Andy – integration with well-being
- Dr Ho – push the scientific boundary of invention
- Perspective from Dr. Bernardo
- The benefits of creating device to help users interacting with plants
- The iterative procedure of pushing the plants forward
- Perspective from Dr. Pan
- Identify and fill the gap that has not been seen in the market
- Value-add to the process which planting hasn’t been automated
- Make the device versatile
