Rechargeable Batteries have arrived.
Charging battery. Mains power used to simulate AC Generator.
Found that belt friction may be insufficient for higher gear ratios
2:1 + 4:1 = 8:1 pulley ratio
Problem encountered:
1. there isnt enough tension between pulley teeth and belt, resulting in belt slipping and system fails
2. aluminum profile is taper-screwed only in one plane, resulting in bending of pulley due to high tension.
Unable to rotate AC Generator.
To upgrade belt to sprocket and chain.
Lower gear ratio manages to work. Able to barely light up a 50W lightbulb as a dummy load.
