Description
Our project is about making a massage device. Not just any typical massage chair or massage gun, but a massage device that you can control and move to specific areas of your back while lying down in the comfort of our massage bed. With the use of aluminum profiles, motors and controls, the massage gun can be controlled to move to whichever spot on your back that you want to reach. The movement of the massage gun along the aluminum profile is programmed using a software called Mach3. This can be controlled by the user using a controller which will be suspended at an easily accessible location on the massage bed for the user to easily reach and use A webcam will also be installed for the user to be able to tell the location of the massage gun while lying down for extra ease and convenience.

Vision
The end goal of our project is to build a unique massage device where the user can be massaged while lying face down. The massage device is envisioned to be able to move to every spot of the user’s back that the user might want to massage. We also wish to design the device such to achieve maximum comfort, usability and convenience to the user.
