Never gonna give you up!

Cringey as it sounds….

While prototype design and watching videos on dumpling machines do provide us with valuable insight and direction in creating our very own dumpling machine. They can never fully prepare us for the hiccups and problems that arise along the way. It’s sad, but it’s true. Some minute details were overlooked upon designing our dumpling machine, such as the need to wet the edges of our dumpling skin to facilitate proper closing of the dumpling.

Furthermore, our idea of replacing conventional minced meat with playdoh to reduce food wastage also came with repercussions. Totally not cause we have an EESS student with us. Playdoh proved to be a tougher substitute compared to minced meat, requiring greater strength than expected to be excreted from the pump. Hence, it is imperative for us to be flexible with our designs to accommodate alternative solutions should problems arise.ย
