Background Problem: How did we came up with this idea?
During our brainstorming, we started off with thinking about problems that we have occurred. From there, we decided on this issue where consumers in the supermarket have to carry groceries in the basket.
Since food items, such as a bag of rice or a carton of milk, are quite heavy, we hope that consumers no longer have to handle heavy items. This is especially so for those with medical conditions or the elderly, who might be uncomfortable carrying heavy objects.
Thus, we decided to build an automatic trolley that could replace small baskets (and the bigger trolleys) in the future!
Aim of Troll-E | Our Vision
Troll-E aims to carry heavy groceries for consumers in the supermarkets. With Troll-E, we hope that consumers would have less hassle in their grocery shopping, improving the ease and convenience for the people.
Description: What does Troll-E do?
Hence, Troll-E will follow consumers around the supermarket at a close distance. Consumers will be able to put their groceries into Troll-E and just have to walk to wherever they like! Troll-E will keep a fixed distance away from the user, while avoiding obstacles at its best.
