One of us suddenly had the idea to connect the TFT screen and the Ramps 1.4 board to our Arduino by wiring. This solution ended up working and we have finally solved the big problem that we have been facing for the past two weeks – team morale was elevated! However, the entire set-up was aesthetically unpleasant since there were many loose wires for the connection, and we looked like we were building a bomb. Any careless tug would have disconnected any wire (which would then result in the entire product malfunctioning). It worked, but was that the best that we could do?
