From week 4, we were set on creating the Solar Panel Cleaner as a personal or small scale Solar Panel Cleaner was not available in the market. During the five weeks from week 4 to week 8, we acquired parts through online orders or by 3D printing it. Progress for the development of the sliding mechanism, can be seen in Media Links.
Through these weeks, we learned to program Arduino, about the different parts & tools (e.g. bolts, nuts, allen wrench and etc.), and optimizing 3D printed parts. Additionally, we got to understand how to submit the claims from the ICS portal. We also learned to use the different features of WordPress such as Plug-ins and Timeline Addons to make a cool and interesting Blog.
Unfortunately, during these weeks we were faced with the challenge of two of our teammates leaving on sudden notice, as such we had to change our plans. Moreover, Amir and Chuan had to take on more responsibilities in order to complete the project.
