 Initial Phase

Remote-Controlled Heavy Duty Trolley

  • 4-wheel drive, each wheel is equipped with its own motor and rotation

  • multi-directional movement

  • controlled remotely

  • carry load of up to 100kg

Turning Point (Week 10)

Due to time constraints and slow progress on our side, our group pivoted from a 4-wheel drive trolley to a 2-wheel drive trolley with 2 dummy wheels that have its own rotation but are not motorised.

Prototype 1

  • 4-wheel drive, each wheel has its own motor and rotation

Prototype 2

  • slightly modified prototype, 4-wheel drive trolley such that each wheel will bear the load directly

  • fixed problem of the wheel possibly being tangled up in its own wires

Prototype 3

  • First prototype of 2-wheel drive trolley with the dummy wheels

Prototype 4

  • Final 2-wheel drive trolley design with aluminium profiles to support the structure
