We presented our progress at Progress Check 1 by providing a live demonstration of how all our prototypes have been failing so far, as well as pitching our new idea that was developed on 17 June.

To begin working on our new idea, we ordered a hamster wheel as our prototype. Additionally, we hypothesised that we would need to use a shutter to control the dropping of our pipette tips into their designated holes in a pipette tip box. Hence, in the afternoon, in order to better understand the mechanism of a shutter, we 3D printed one using a template we found online.
