In this project, we are using a RAMPS 1.4 shield attached to an Arduino Mega 2560 board to control the Creality Ender-3 3D printer. RAMPS 1.4 shield enables control for up to 5 stepper motors, namely the X, Y, Z, E0 and E1 axes. For this project, we are only using the X, Y, Z axes to control the movement of the 3D printer, and the E0 axis to control the ejection of pipette tips.
