Chonky or Fluffy…

Paw Patrol consists of a (bussin’) group of CN Yang Scholars working on our Making and Tinkering project. Our group is composed of 3 members from unique majors – Biological Sciences, Chemistry and Biological Chemistry and Electrical and Electronic Engineering. We aim to create a dog body composition scale that provides pet owners with detailed and otherwise inaccessible information of their dog’s health down to the specifics such as body fat and muscle percentage. Our project also features an automated food dispenser that accurately weighs out the tailored mass of food the dog should be consuming according to its own body composition.

With this, we hope to combat dog obesity and aid dog owners in improving their dog’s quality of life. Follow our blog for updates and check-in on our progress ◡̈ !
